While the iWALK Hands-Free-Crutch works for most people, it isn’t for everyone. If your general level of fitness and balance is average or better, and you meet the other size and physical ability requirements, the iWALK crutch will likely work for you. However, if you do not have average strength and balance, this is an indication that the iWALK crutch is not the right device for you.
Here's a good test to determine if you have the strength and balance required to use the iWALK crutch. If, before your injury, you could go up and down a flight of stairs at normal walking speed, without using the handrails, then you have the required strength and balance to use the iWALK crutch.
If you don't have great balance, unfortunately, we cannot recommend the crutch for your recovery.
